Year End Medication Pick Up
All student medications must be collected from building offices by noon on Friday, June 5, 2026. A parent or guardian MUST pick up any medications.
If medications are not picked up by this date, they will be disposed of appropriately. A new prescription medication form must be completed and signed by a physician and parent each school year. The non-prescription medication form must be completed and signed by a parent each school year for both elementary and secondary students.

There is still time to register for Kindergarten! Mason families with children who will be five years old by September 1, 2026, can sign up now to begin school in the fall. Students who will be five years old by December 1, 2026, are also eligible with an age waiver.
Through Michigan’s Meet Up and Eat Up program, children 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals at participating summer meal sites.

We are excited to share that Emelia Brown has been selected as the next principal of Harvey Education Center (HEC). She will begin in July and welcome students this fall for the new school year. Mrs. Brown has been an educator for more than 20 years and has extensive experience in both elementary and early childhood education.
A special Board of Education Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 5:30 PM, in the chambers of City Hall. The agenda includes selection of the Harvey Education Center principal and discussion of a property purchase.
