Chain of Communication
As needed, families should follow the flow of communication outlined below to discuss issues with staff and administrators in the district. This process will also be adhered to by staff and administrators when addressing school issues. This chart does not represent an appeals process.
We promote and foster student advocacy. Please encourage students to use their voices and advocate for their needs and/or concerns through communication channels.
Classroom Issue - Teacher > School Principal/Director > Director of Student Supports or Special Education* (* If your student has an IEP/504 plan.)
Student Discipline Issue - Teacher > Assistant Principal (secondary) > School Principal > Superintendent
Athletic Issue - Coach > Athletic Director > School Principal > Superintendent
Transportation Issue - Driver > Administrative Assistant > Transportation Supervisor > Superintendent
Food Service Issue- Food Service Administrative Assistant > Food Service Director > Chief Financial Officer > Superintendent
