New Harvey Education Center Principal Selected
We are excited to share that Emelia Brown has been selected as the next principal of Harvey Education Center (HEC). She will begin in July and welcome students this fall for the new school year. Mrs. Brown has been an educator for more than 20 years and has extensive experience in both elementary and early childhood education.
She currently teaches third grade at Holt Public Schools, where she also previously taught kindergarten. She has also worked as an academic interventionist and instructional coach in both Holt and Lansing Public Schools.
Mrs. Brown has also served as the executive director of the Spartan Child Development Center and has worked as a preschool teacher and early childhood specialist. Please give a big HEC and Bulldog welcome to Mrs. Brown!
