Nut Restricted Classroom Alert
Mason High School has nut restricted classrooms. Please, do not send any peanut or tree nut containing products for your child to eat during snack in the classroom. Since lunch is eaten in the cafeteria, your child may bring peanut butter, peanuts, or other nut products for lunch. We appreciate your support.
Special Board Meeting
A special meeting of the Board of Education, for the purpose of conducting School Board vacancy interviews, is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Sycamore Room at City Hall.
The regular August Board of Education meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Mason Public Schools Board of Education Vacancy Announced
Mason Public Schools (MPS) is seeking applications to fill a vacant position on the Board of Education. An individual will be appointed to fill the vacant position and serve through the remainder of the current term and through the next regular school election cycle, ending in 2028.
Summer Information and Reminders
Summer is a great time to get a jump on planning for the next school year. Families can ensure they are prepared for the fall by taking care of some items during summer break.
Kindergarten Registration Continues
There is still time to register for Kindergarten! Mason families with children who will be five years old by September 1, 2026, can sign up now to begin school in the fall. Students who will be five years old by December 1, 2026, are also eligible with an age waiver.
Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Food Program
Through Michigan’s Meet Up and Eat Up program, children 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals at participating summer meal sites.
Year End Medication Pick Up
All student medications must be collected from building offices by noon on Friday, June 5, 2026. A parent or guardian MUST pick up any medications.
