Facilities

The Mason Public Schools Facilities Department supports safe, clean and well-maintained learning spaces for all students and staff. The team oversees building maintenance, grounds care, custodial services and daily operations across the district. Their work helps ensure that every school environment is ready for teaching, learning and community activities.

Integrated Pest Management

Pesticides may occasionally be used in the school building or grounds. Parents or guardians of students attending that school or daycare will be notified at least 48 hours before a pesticide, other than a bait or gel formulation is used. However, in an emergency, a pesticide may be applied without providing advance notice. Parents or guardians will be promptly notified after the emergency pesticide application.

The two methods of notification will be:

  1. A posting inside each entrance to that building.
  2. A notice posted on the District’s website
  3. Those who wish to be notified by U.S. Postal Mail may make such request by contacting the building principal.

Mason Public School's integrated pest management program may be reviewed by contacting the building principal or you may also contact the Operations Director.
