Liz Evans, President
Elected: 2016; Board Committees: Policy & Community, Executive Committees; What does success for MPS look like to you? Students and families continuing to move here and graduate from MHS. Coming to Mason and staying is a true indicator that the schools are doing well.

Steve Duane, Vice President
Elected: 2020; Board Committees: Finance & Property, Curriculum & Staff and Executive Committees; Best thing about serving on the MPS BOE? It's very satisfying work! I'm thankful to have the opportunity to set a strategic direction for the district and see it implemented for the benefit of our students and community.

Dr. Amy Lark, Secretary
Elected: 2022; Board Committees: Policy & Community and Curriculum & Staff Committees; What might people not know about the BOE? There are lots and lots of opportunities to share your expertise. We have committees to serve on, and we also serve on outside groups, for example, I am involved in DEIB initiatives and am a non-voting member of the MPS Foundation board.

Elected: 2024; Board Committee: Curriculum & Staff Committee; What might people not know about the BOE? How much work we do outside of the board meetings. We receive large packets of information before each meeting that we need to read and process before we discuss the topics as a group.
