Welcome to Mason Public Schools Early Childhood Education Elementary and Child Development Services! The Harvey Education Center is home to Mason's Kindergarten students. News, information and updates about Kindergarten are in the "Kindergarten" link to the left.
We are committed to providing excellence in Kindergarten, Preschool, Early Learning (Pre-K), Head Start, GSRP, Early Childhood Special Education and Before/After School Care. Where Bulldogs Begin!
The registration window for Kindergarten runs from February 1st through March 15th. Families interested in enrolling their child for the fall are encouraged to complete the Online Enrollment process during that time. Students eligible for Kindergarten should be 5 years old on or by September 1st. Instructions for completing the registration process are available on the Enrollment Page.

Early Childhood Tuition Based Programs
We are a 4 Star Great Start to Quality Early Childhood Center. We have tuition based classrooms for Preschool and Early Learning (Pre-K). Classroom enrollment for currently enrolled students begins March 1st to register for the 2021-22 school year.

Grant Funded Preschool Programs are available through Head Start and GSRP
We are proud partners with Capital Area Community Services and Ingham Intermediate School District. We have Grant-funded programs are available, at no cost to families. We encourage all interested parents/guardians to fill out an application online at www.inghampreschool.org or call Mrs. Vandecar at 517-676-6528 for inquiries.
To qualify for our Pre-kindergarten Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) or Head Start Preschool, families provide verification of income, residency, birth/early childhood health history, and environmental experiences. Children are enrolled based on numerous criteria including income and additional factors which may place them at risk. A high-quality preschool program is a great start for all children!
